Fantastic Indian food. By far the best in the area. Extremely friendly staff. Super clean. Will be back... Probably this week as I'll definitely be craving this again soon.
This family owned establishment is truly lovely! This is my 3rd time dining here with close friends I have here in Buffalo! I always make a point of stopping for Jassa’s delicious cuisine. His chicken wings are crispy, beautifully spiced & the sauce is divine. His chai is the real deal, highly recommend. I love the chicken korma & garlic naan. Tell your friends.
Food was so delicious, very flavorful and savory. I was passing through town from Texas and needed something spicy! This place did not disappoint, staff was very kind and friendly and gave us advice on some places to check out around town! Best Indian food I’ve ever had!

Happy Friendsgiving!!! Shared a wonderful meal with a friend in lieu of traditional family chaos. India gate ALWAYS delivers in taste and service, but this was our first time at the Hertel location. We had eggplant pakora and samosas to start, the raita and chutney were tart, sweet, savory, with a little kick to brighten up the fried treats. Saag paneer and butter chicken were rich and flavorful...it was hard to stop eating even though we had already filled our bellies! Thank you to the kind waiter and rest of the staff for a great meal and possibly a new tradition.
Fantasic restaurant, excellent service, high quality food...what else can you ask for? In an era of high restaurant turnover this Hertel location is becoming an anchor due to the consistency in the product they sell. My family has never been disappointed in anything we've had here, and we've tried plenty of items. If you don't live in the neighborhood and are driving, they have their own parking lot which is a big plus on Hertel.
Sunday 11:30am, I was the only customer and first customer here. The boss told me that his stuff not in yet, but he could cook for me, so I took his suggestion, spent 20 exact here, the dish should be 17, with cash payment. The chickens were a little hard, the curry was very good! Since I was the only customer here, I took a little more photos to show the restaurant, and the music was great too, Indian style, for sure.
